Brave Like Meg
My sister, Meg Boyer, fought brain cancer valiantly and tirelessly. After three years of fighting, she passed away on Christmas Day. She would be beyond happy to know that donations were made in her name that would help other patients with brain tumors. She was convinced that there would one day be a cure.
Meg was fierce, thoughtful, and generous. She influenced people in all areas of her life - family, friends, co-workers. She "made" me run my one-and-only 10K about a million years ago when we lived in Boise together, so it's fitting that this fundraiser is a run. Please join me if you can in Omaha on July 23 for a 5K, or please consider donating to Head for the Cure in Meg's honor.
Thank you for all of your continued support as we remember what a badass Meg was.
