Honoring My Sister
Each year, more than 80,000 people in the United States are diagnosed with a brain tumor. That sounds like a big number, but when one of those 80,000 is a person you cherish, the incidence rate doesn't matter. You just want a cure. More than 120 types of brain tumors exist, making effective treatment complicated. My beloved sister, Jennifer, was among those diagnosed in 2016 with a type of brain tumor called anaplastic astrocytoma. She passed away in June 2020.
I am participating in Head for the Cure Salt Lake City on August 22, 2020. Join me and members of my family in honoring my beloved big sis. Please make a donation as we Head for the Cure, which is only possible through research.
