Let's Find a Cure
My whole life I’ve fought headaches. My whole life we’ve gone to doctor after doctor, getting no answers. My whole life, I have tried to find a solution to the pain staking daily headaches.
And on February 11th, 2016, 2 days after discovering I was legally blind, I finally got an answer. On that dreary Thursday afternoon, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor the size of a golf ball. A mere 2 weeks later, on February 25th, I endured 6 hours of brain surgery.
Even after 90% of my tumor being resected, I was still left with no solution to the pain staking headaches. And the surgery didn’t make things easier, either. I was still legally blind, still had headaches, couldn’t read a book, and my ability to comprehend anything was at an all time low.
This is the summed up version of my story living with a brain tumor. I’m sure the millions of other brain tumor fighters and survivors would love to give you a glimpse into their life, as well. Each story is drastically different. Each person has their own personal struggles day in and day out. And, as crazy as it is, no matter how different we are, we still have one common goal: find a cure.
I want to ensure that nobody has to go through what I did, and still am going through. When I set a goal, I reach it. Please help me reach my goal as soon as possible, by donating below or signing up for our team. The sooner you donate, the sooner we find a cure. With hundreds being diagnosed per day, time is ticking.
