Welcome to My Personal Page

Thank you for visiting my personal page and helping us to reach our fundraising goal of $1500.00 this year.
It has been 5 years since Jason, succumbed to Glioblastoma on January 12th, 2017. Jason was so brave during the 21 months of this dreadful disease. Each year, over 200,000 people in the United States are diagnosed with a primary or metastatic brain tumor. My son, Jason Jensen, was one of those people. More than 120 types of brain tumors exist, making effective treatment complicated. Cutting edge research is needed as we continue to make strides in this fight. Jason wanted a cure for this disease, so he chose to receive his treatments at a learning hospital, not for himself, but for the future of this FIGHT!
There is a not a day that goes by that Jason isn’t missed by his family and friends. I have told many many people that losing a child is the worst thing I have been through and would not wish it upon my worst enemy.
Please join us again this year to carry on that FIGHT! We need to continue as warriors in Jason's name...with our legs, with our hearts, and with our resources. We am joining the fight against brain cancer by participating in Head for the Cure OMAHA on Saturday, July 23rd, Head for the Cure is dedicated to raising funds and awareness for brain cancer research. Why don't you join our team? The more people the bigger IMPACT, and the better for Head for the Cure as we work to defeat brain cancer! We need people like you on our team, Just for Jason.
Participating in an event that raises money for brain cancer research. The money that you donate, and we raise, will go to the Brain Tumor Trials Collaborative, a network of medical centers with the expertise and the desire to participate in state-of-the-art clinical trials investigating new treatments for malignant brain tumors.
We need your support so please do anything you can - join our team, register as an individual and raise on your own, or make a donation on the team's behalf. You can walk with our team, you can run, or you can join as a virtual participant.
Thank you so much for all of your support and we look forward to seeing your pictures!
Sincerely, Jason's Family
